The Hong Kong YWCA Chinese Orchestra will present the “Concert Celebrating the 76th National Day and the 105th HKYWCA Anniversary: Yang Xue and HKYWCACO” on September 21 at the Hong Kong City Hall, in celebration of the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 105th anniversary of the Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association (HKYWCA).
This special concert will feature acclaimed Erhu virtuoso Yang Xue, who is also the Head of the Bowed-String Division at the Department of Chinese Music, Central Conservatory of Music, and Yuan Bei, a National First-Class Conductor and Resident Conductor of the China National Traditional Orchestra. Together, they will lead the performance of a series of captivating and emotionally stirring musical works.
